Gang affiliation and the increase of criminal activity has become a major problem in communities throughout the entire world. PITY hopes to have a center directly in the heart of every community all over the world where PITY is needed.
The PITY center is available to parents who have a child or children, boys/girls, who are involved in gangs, criminal activity, drug abuse, rebellious to their parents, other adults and authority, etc. PITY will show them how to get their child/children on the right track and the cost is 100% free to the community.

About us
PITY, Protecting the Innocence of Troubled Youth, is a non-profit organization made up of a body of men and women who have experienced gang affiliation, drug addiction, criminal activity and years of incarceration. They have given their lives over to GOD by serving kids who are headed down the same path. Their goal is to show that the result of living this type of life leads to imprisonment and/or death.
PITY'S mission is to eliminate gangs completely by getting these boys and girls off the streets and to show these kids a new and better way of life.
THE BENEFIT
It will help change the mentality of children. Our strongest assets are those who have experienced the gang life and have been imprisoned. They will share what really goes on behind the scenes in the prison environment. They will expose the myths that being in prison is cool. This deadly mindset (which we call a “disease”) has caused irreparable damage and the only way to turn it around is through those who have experienced the path that these kids are currently on or headed towards. They will be taught daily life skills to prepare them for their future. Not only will this help our youth, who are our future, but remove gang activity which benefits the whole community.
